What information do you need for a powder coating quote?

We need the dimensions of the largest part, the quantity, the color and finish, the material if you know it, and when you need the parts back. A photo helps a great deal, especially for used parts where prep depends on condition. For production work, a drawing with masking marked is ideal. Missing details are fine; we will ask.

How soon will I hear back after requesting a quote?

Same business day, usually faster. Quote requests go straight to the people who schedule the shop, not a call center. Requests that arrive after hours are answered the next business morning. If your job is urgent, call the shop as well as sending the form, and mention the rush so we can check the oven schedule right away.

Is a quote binding if the parts arrive different from the photos?

The quote holds as long as the parts match what was described. If parts arrive with heavier rust, old coatings, undercoating, or different dimensions than the photos showed, we will call you with a revised price before doing any extra work. Nothing gets added to an invoice without a conversation first. That is policy, and also common courtesy.
