Powder coating capacity: 20 × 10 × 10 ft.
Proper Powder Coating Co. in Uintah, Utah (just outside Ogden) can powder coat parts up to 20 × 10 × 10 ft in a single batch, including trailer frames, long railing sections, gates, and full bumper sets. Standard turnaround is 2–3 business days. Small parts run in batches on the same schedule, and there is no minimum.

The numbers
Envelope means usable part size, not the inside of the oven. Parts need a little room for hooks and air.

What fits
The oven is 20 feet long, which is the number fab shops and trailer builders actually ask about. It fits a single-axle utility trailer frame in one piece, long rail and fence sections without splicing, driveway gate leaves, stair stringers, and a full set of truck bumpers, sliders, and racks in one batch.
Small parts go on the same schedule. Brackets, tabs, housings, and hardware are hung on racks and trees in batches, so a 400-piece bracket run and a single gate can share an oven cycle if they share a color. That is how small jobs keep a two-to-three-day turnaround.
How to tell if your part fits
Measure the longest, widest, and tallest points of the finished part, including anything that sticks out: tongue jacks, hinges, brackets, mounting tabs. Add about six inches of clearance in each direction for hanging and airflow. If the result fits inside 20 × 10 × 10 ft, it fits.
Then tell us the weight and how the part can be lifted. A part that fits dimensionally but has no good hang points may need a fixture, which we can build. Heavy, thick-walled parts also take longer to come up to cure temperature, which affects scheduling but not whether we can do it.

Parts too big
If your part is bigger than that, it is one of the parts too big, and we will say so immediately and without drama. We would rather tell you on the phone than after you have loaded a trailer.
For parts still on the drawing board, the best fix is usually to design for the oven: bolt-together sections that coat separately and assemble afterward. It is cheaper than finding a larger oven, and it makes the parts easier to ship and install. For finished parts that simply do not fit, we can point you toward large-format industrial coaters or a liquid system that does not need an oven. See max part sizes explained for the long version.
No part too small. Some parts too big.

All questions →How big is your powder coating oven?
Our cure oven has a usable part envelope of 20 × 10 × 10 ft. That fits trailer frames, long railing sections, gates, and full bumper sets in a single batch. Actual usable size is slightly smaller than the oven interior because parts need clearance for hanging hardware and airflow. Send dimensions of your largest part and we will confirm it fits before you load anything.
How heavy a part can you coat?
Weight matters as much as size. Heavy parts also take longer to reach cure temperature, because thick steel absorbs a lot of heat before the surface reaches metal temperature. That affects scheduling more than feasibility. Send the approximate weight of the heaviest piece with your quote request, and tell us how the part can be lifted and hung.
What if my part is too big for the oven?
If your part is bigger than our envelope, we will say so immediately and without drama. For parts still in design, the best fix is often sectioning: bolt-together assemblies that coat separately and assemble after. For finished parts that are too large, we can suggest large-format industrial coaters, or recommend a liquid coating system that does not need an oven.
